Dogeminer 2 is a free browser game. We keep data collection to what's needed to run the game, understand how the site is used, and show the ads that keep it free. This page explains what that means in practice.
Game progress is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data will delete your local save, so download a backup first (there's a save download option on the homepage and in the game).
If you choose to sign in with Google for cloud saves, your save file is stored in your own Google Drive app data folder. We receive your basic Google profile info (name and email) to show who is signed in. You can revoke this at any time from your Google account permissions.
If you link a Patreon account to unlock supporter perks, we use Patreon's sign-in (OAuth) to confirm your membership status. We don't receive your Patreon password.
We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site and game are used (pages visited, approximate region, device type). This is aggregate usage data, not tied to your identity by us. How Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Ads are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, including personalized ads where you've consented. See the Google AdSense cookie FAQ and Google Ads Settings to manage ad personalization.
